Many misinformed teens do not realize the potential dangers of alcohol consumption. April is National Youth Sports Safety Month. As parents are registering their children for the upcoming sports seasons, help educate them on how to keep their children protected from sports injuries. Additionally, provide them with helpful tips and resources to ensure all their questions about sports protective equipment are answered.
Each year, more than 3.5 million children get medical treatment for sports injuries. It’s important for kids to wear proper protective gear to make sure they don’t get hurt. Athletes can take precautions to limit future related injuries without affecting their performance. Because misconceptions are so prevalent, we need your help to spread information and remind kids and parents alike about risk-reducing steps they can take.
