Mission Statement

The mission of the Medical Examiner-Coroner is to provide for the health, safety and dignity of the community by determining the circumstances, conditions and cause of death of persons who fall under its legal jurisdiction and to notify and treat bereaved family members of these deaths in a compassionate and professional manner.
